Missing Tabbetha Worford

The following information was obtained from a myspace page about Tabbetha Worford. It in no way relates or speaks of myself.

Tabbetha Worford was reported missing on May 07, 1990. She disappeared from her apartment on 601 N. Fairfield Drive in Pensacola, FL. She was 19 years old at the time of her disappearance. Foul play is suspected.

Although I am a police officer I am in no way connected to the investigation or to the family. I was friends with Tabbetha. I met her through some very good friends of mine who lived next door to me.

I am looking for information on her disappearance. Somewhere someone knows something about what happened to her. I do not have a clue what happened during the original investigation. I just know this is listed as a "Cold Case" at the Escambia County Sheriff Office website.

  2. I went to high school with Tabbetha & if I am this bothered by a lack of answers, I can only imagine what her family has been going through. I pray for this case to be solved so that her family will finally have aswers, if not a body as well.

  3. Tabby was a childhood friend... My parents were friends with her grandparents. We hung out in the summer time and I think of her often.

  5. I was a friend of hers since 6th grade. Lived a few houses from her as teenagers. We had sleep overs. She was small enough to fit in child seat on back of my parents ten speed bike and i would pedal her all over the neighborhood. She and her baby lived with me and my husband for a short time before she moved into her apartment where she was last seen. My family helped her move into her apartment. As I was 9 months pregnant at the time, she called me everyday during her lunch break to check on me. Her calls stopped the day my mother arrived to stay with me. I assumed she hadn't called because she knew my mother was with me. However, it turned out that she didn't call because she was missing. My husband and I were never questioned by the police. At the time, I felt I had no information to offer to help. Now I realize that, had they questioned us they might have picked up on something we did not realize would be of help. Very sad.
